The historic Orpheum Theatre was renovated for “adaptive reuse,” restoring as much of its visible splendor as possible, while retrofitting it as a modern theatre capable of handling anything Broadway sends its way. Its marquee at Second Avenue and Adams Street announces the names of first class productions, drawing thousands of people to a vibrant downtown venue.
The 1,364-seat Orpheum audience chamber–now known as the Lewis Auditorium, dedicated to Jewell and Delbert Lewis and family–has 1,062 seats on orchestra level, 302 in the balcony.
The Orpheum Theatre is located at 203 W. Adams St. between Second and Third avenues (on the northeast corner of Phoenix City Hall).
There are no events currently scheduled for this venue.
