Built in the ’20s, the 1,000-person-capacity warehouse space at 441 W. Madison St. was once a printing press, which would explain the name.
In addition to hosting live performances, the venue, which also features outdoor space, will be available for weddings, corporate meetings, private parties, receptions, proms and art exhibitions as well.
The venue hosts an open house Thursday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m., with live performances by Sara Robinson and the Midnight Special, Paul Gurvitz and the Burning of Rome.
“We want to share our excitement surrounding what will be an important fixture in the local music scene for a long time to come,” Zelisko said. “Join us for drinks and food-truck fun, hear some amazing music and see the Pressroom.”
